Due to an RTC involving the original Primula Blood Bike which resulted in total loss this bike was purchased as it's replacement.

The newest addition to the Northumbria Blood Bike’s fleet was purchased with a £15,000 grant from Primula.

The bike, which has been named Primula, will be going into operational service helping to save lives across the North East.

Primula is part of the charitable Kavli Trust and each year the famous squeezy cheese company donates its profits to local, national and international charities and causes. Last year, Northumbria Blood Bikes was one of three local charities nominated by staff members at its Team Valley site to receive a donation.
