However, did you know that they have a specialist skills team that could help your organisation too?
Introducing ... The Specialist Skills team at the North East Ambulance Service
We provide paramedic-led first aid and health and safety training. We are the trainer of choice for public, private and third sector organisations across the North East of England.
Our Specialist Skills team delivers a paramedic-led training to ensure you have the skills required within your organisation to deal with any incidents. We can also help you to make sure your skills are up-to-date and that you comply with UK regulations.
First aid at work
All employers have a responsibility to ensure employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or become ill when they are at work. We offer a range of nationally accredited first aid at work courses, based on your organisations requirements, and we’re here to help if you need any guidance selecting the right course for you.
Health and safety training
We offer health and safety training including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), anaphylaxis, automated external defibrillator (AED) training, immediate emergency care (IEC), fire safety, drug overdose training, conflict resolution and safer moving and handling.
Bespoke courses
We can work with you to design, develop and deliver bespoke courses which are specific to your organisation’s requirements.
Lifesaving equipment
We are a supplier of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) - a safe, reliable, computerised device that can analyse heart rhythms and enable a non-medically qualified rescuer to safely deliver the lifesaving shock. AEDs can also be purchased alongside specific AED training packages.

Alpine Hearing Protection
Many thanks to the good people at Alpine Hearing Protection who have donated pairs of their top of the line motosafe earplugs for our riders. Earplugs not only prevent hearing damage but also help the rider stay focused by blocking out wind noise while allowing the rider to communicate and hear the noise of traffic etc. They also come with swap-able filters to allow the rider to select the correct level of attenuation. Thanks again to Alpine for their support.
