Recycle your ink cartridges

We recently sent off a box of ink cartridges collected by our volunteers at one of our meetings. Today we received a donation value confirmation email from Recycle4Charity:

“Thank you for recycling your cartridges with us. With your help we have kept 383564 Kg of waste out of landfill sites.

Did you know that you can help us raise funds simply by recycling your ink cartridges via our 
Recycle4Charity programme? 

For each ink cartridge recycled via the programme we will receive up to £2 donation.

You can also register to get a collection box that can be used for public collection points.

Milk relay

Another relay from yesterday:

Yesterday our volunteer driver, Bill, took part in a milk relay from the Morpeth Milk Hub down to Wetherby where he relayed with East Midlands Freewheelers. He then delivered to the Neonatal Units at James Cook Hospital and Sunderland Royal Hospital before he returned to the Morpeth Milk Hub.
