Our amazing team of shift controllers are the point of contact for any NHS organisation that requires our service. They decide, in a timely manner, which is the most appropriate shift vehicle and volunteer to pass the job to. Once the shift vehicle is ‘in flight’ the controller supports them at all times, recording their progress and they are their ‘eyes in the sky’. Shift controllers work from home using a cloud based telephone line and computer to complete their duties. They are an essential part of our team. Thank you so much for your volunteer work. Even though you’re not in the spotlight on shift you are the backbone of running our service.
