Each year we ask our volunteers to nominate their Volunteer of the Year which we award at our annual AGM. It was great that we were able to award this year's in person.

We are extremely pleased to announce that our ‘Outstanding Volunteer’ for 2021 is awarded to Carol Nelson. 
 

She was nominated by her fellow volunteers for her hard work and dedication with talks and shift controlling. For being a very competent and on ball controller who manages the role brilliantly, jumping on shift at short notice. Plus, being a credit to our charity for her involvement at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House event earlier in the year.

We are proud to have Carol as part of our #BloodBike team and family. This recognition is very much deserved and a huge congratulations from all of us at Northumbria Blood Bikes!
