Blood Bikes Santa Run 2022 has jingled all the way around 8 of the North East Children’s wards. Our final stops were to The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust including The Great North Children's Hospital and The Freeman Hospital.

Over the last three days we have had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful staff and today we were greeted by a sweet young lady called Bea (Beatrix's Heart Journey) who was very excited to see the bikes arrive at the hospital. Seeing her reaction gave all our volunteers warm fuzzies and if we could ask one thing of our supporters this Christmas that would be to have the conversation with your family about NHS Organ Donation.
