Today we are celebrating #BloodBikeDay and this year’s theme is #GoingBeyond

This theme aims to recognise the compassion and selflessness that each blood bike volunteer brings to their role, always going the extra mile. It’s about more than just delivering blood—it’s about the countless ways that Blood Bike volunteers contribute their time, energy, and resources to support our communities. Whether it’s transporting blood products, donor breast milk, urgent medical equipment, or working closely in partnership with a local air ambulance charity, their dedication goes far beyond the core mission and touches countless lives.
