Today our volunteers have continued spreading festive cheer on the second day of the Children’s wards we will be visiting in our Blood Bikes Santa Run 2024. On our Santa Run today we visited The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s Great North Children’s Hospital and The Freeman Hospital plus Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital.

We were joined by a very special young lady and honorary Blood Biker Beatrix's Heart Journey. Eagle eyed viewers might spot our little friend in BBC Casualty’s Christmas Special this Saturday 21st December at 9.20pm.

We will be visiting more hospitals over the next couple of days.
