On Saturday night we had great pleasure in attending the Clems Pirates 13th Fancy Dress Ball as their nominated charity of the year for 2019.

Started by brothers Andrew and Stephen Oxenham as a single rugby match to celebrate Stephen’s 40th birthday, Clems Pirates is now a fine example of veterans rugby and was affiliated in 2000 to Durham RFU. With the help of their generous sponsors over 150 players have represented the club at home and abroad.
