At 7pm last night our team began our 108 hours of continuous service bringing us right through to Tuesday morning. We started the bank holiday weekend shortly before witnessing the #ClapforourCarers. Then, as well as our usual jobs, through the night 4 Blood Bike Groups have relayed samples from Western General Hospital, in Edinburgh, to John Smith Children’s Centre, in London. Covering around 426 miles in total through the #TeamWork of Blood Bikes Scotland, our volunteer Chris from Northumbria Blood Bikes, Whiteknights Yorkshire Blood Bikes and Leicestershire & Rutland Blood Bikes.
