Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic Northumbria Blood Bikes volunteers have stepped up to do whatever they could to support our NHS. From transporting Covid-19 samples, PPE to taking on extra daytime shifts to support transporting patients. Volunteers have also taken part in numerous relays of samples and donated milk outside of usual duty hours. 
Today we are joining our #BloodBike family in celebrating #BloodBikeDay and  #RisingToTheChallege
