We are pleased to announce our newest addition to our fleet Blood Bike ‘Morpeth’. This BMW 1250RT has been purchased from the fund raised during Councillor Alison Byard’s Mayoral term 2019/2020. Alison was generously supported in her fundraising by the residents of Morpeth Town. They raised the money through taking part in the Great North Run, Picnic at the Park, Fair Day, Christmas Lights Switch On, Mayors Ball, Chinese New Year as well as local churches, Middles Schools Fun Run and donations from the Masonic Lodge of Northumberland and William Leech Charity. In total they raised an incredible £35,000 which was not only to purchase our new bike but to also cover it’s running costs. We would like to express our sincerest thanks to Alison and the residents of Morpeth for all their hard work and their support of our charity.
