Details:

Following a puncture and subsequent long wait for recovery recently, a new space saver wheel, jack & brace have now been fitted into the Yaris BoB car to provide a viable option given the schedule and locations the BoB car operates under. The existing tyre seal and inflation kit have also been left in the vehicle.

Please also be aware that many recovery firms including the AA expect vehicle drivers to have attempted a temporary repair on the tyre using the manufacturer supplied kit unless it is apparent such a kit would not be suitable. Failure to do this will usually result in a charge being levied for the call out and any subsequent uplift of the vehicle.

Would BoB drivers please familiarise themselves with the jacking process on the Yaris which can be found in the following manual https://www.toyota.co.uk/customer/manuals and choose Yaris Cross/Yaris Cross Hybrid and click on the vehicle icon to obtain a list of available manuals.
