<p>As you may already be aware from the local news, the flyover section that runs south from the Tyne Bridge to connect Durham Road has been closed due to structural issues.&nbsp; Given the current restrictions on the Tyne Bridge, this is very likely to cause even greater pressure on the Gateshead side, especially at weekends &amp; PH&#39;s.</p> <p>Currently the roads that link the two underpass roundabouts off Park Rd &amp; Sunderland Rd are closed&nbsp;for the forseeable future to allow for either survey, repair or even demolition work to take place,&nbsp;so could Shift Controllers please take this into account when despatching vehicles over to the QE, especially if they request &#39;Urgent&#39; jobs.</p> <p>More information is available from local news&nbsp;reports</p> <p>If any major issues are encountered then please report back to Ria Burnett (Rota Mgr) so alternative planning can be looked at.</p>
