<p>We have had several instances now where members have encountered difficulties in opening keysafe boxes at various locations.&nbsp; The main reason for this issue appears to be incorrect return of keys where the keyring or fob gets jammed in the narrow portion of the box.&nbsp; This causes pressure on the door when closed up and when&nbsp;next accessed&nbsp;the release catch cannot be operated.</p> <p>If this occurs, apply gentle pressure to the door whilst releasing the catch and that will overcome the problem.</p> <p>Can Riders &amp; Drivers please be extra careful when returning keys especially with the smaller keysafes.&nbsp; We are looking to replace the smaller boxes for the larger ones but as we don&#39;t own the Ambulance or Fire Service sites, its problematic getting new boxes fitted that require additional holes to be drilled.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
