Job recorders
Details:

The following changes have been made to some job recorders to assist members in their operational shifts:-

BoB Recorder - Collections from Darlington Memorial can now be made prior to arrival at GNAAS providing arrival at Darlington Memorial is no later than 19:30 to ensure the GNAAS blood box is at Progress House for 20:00. This will probably only apply to those BoB drivers who use the A68 route to Darlington. The DMH collection time restriction within the BoB recorder has been removed to ensure an accurate collection time is entered.

This will be for a trial period to ensure we don't encounter any negative feedback from GNAAS regarding late box dropoffs (unforseen issues excluded) so please don't abuse this change as it will be rescinded if problems arise.

GP Recorder - The anomaly whereby final drop off time at Freeman was only possible from 20:05 has now been removed to reflect earlier drop offs due to cancelled collections.

There still appears to be some members not completing this form and instead putting GP collections into the Std Job Logger. Can we refrain from doing this please as it makes it harder for monthly job figures to be consolidated. This recorder was introduced to make this task simpler for all concerned so it's puzzling why the old method is still being used.

Hexham Recorder - We are currently exploring whether the CMG & HEX samples can be delivered to NSECH after the HMP Northumberland collection is completed. Initially we were informed that the samples were required at NSECH for no later than 20:30 however this may not be the case. We are awaiting a reply from hospital management to clarify this and any changes will be made & circulated forthwith.
