<p>We have been advised that an ANPR parking camera system is being introduced into Hexham General as of Tuesday 1st September to monitor the main car parks.&nbsp; In order to avoid any un-necessary parking fines and until we can establish future parking rights at the hospital, we have agreed with Blood Bikes Cumbria to meet at the Bus station car park (just opposite the hospital) for all exchanges with them.&nbsp; The bus station has a free 3 hour restriction using a&nbsp;parking disc but since we will not be leaving the vehicle unattended, this shouldn&#39;t pose any issues.&nbsp; Note: When recording relays with Blood Bikes Cumbria the location for collection/delivery remains the same : <em>Relays: BBC Cumbria Handover</em></p> <p>For any collections from Urgent Care (i.e. Hexham Run and ad hoc samples), continue to park outside the main entrance as previous since&nbsp;the ANPR system only applies to the car parks.</p> <p>We have emailed the hospital but being bank holiday, it may take a few days to receive a reply.&nbsp; Once the parking situation is clarified, we will inform everyone accordingly.</p>
