Managing the Hospital Hotline

The full managing the hotline procedure is available here, however, the instructions below are provided for convenience

 

To Redirect the Hospital Hotline

  1. Log on to the Virtually Local website at http://www.virtuallylocal.co.uk/customer_login.php

  2. Username:  click here for page NBB Confidential

  3. Password:   click here for page NBB Confidential 

  4. Choose “Your Numbers” from the right menu on-screen.

  5. Select  0191 228 6495 (the grey box at the bottom of the screen) - This is the hospital hotline.

  6. Replace the Destination Number 1 with the number to divert to (land line is best)

  7. If there is an alternative number to divert to then place it in the Destination Number 2, replacing any numbers already there,
    otherwise ensure Destination Number 2 is set     to the committee in-hours number, 01913643773. 

  8. Ensure that Destination Numbers 3 & 4 always contains 0191 3643113. This is the committee info number and ensures that the call is answered.

  9. Make sure that any numbers ring for 50 seconds or less by the option to the right of the number

  10. Leave Voicemail <OFF>

  11. Leave Overwrite Caller Id <YES>

  12. Click   [SAVE]
     

The number to divert to for NBB in hours (ie weekday days) is 0191 364 3773
