Why I volunteer…
“I first heard about NBB through Stormin' the Castle. I joined to ride bikes (especially when mine aren't reliable) and help others, I have always volunteered doing something so this is my passion for bikes and volunteering all in one.
I volunteer as rider and controller.
Why I volunteer...
“I heard about NBB from one of my motorcycling friends, Ken Tait, who is a very active member and he extolled the virtues of the charity and the good work that was done by them.
We are immensely grateful of the support provided to NBB by Fred Henderson Ltd, who at very short notice have gone above and beyond to keep us on the road this Bank Holiday weekend. This was after one of our vehicles had to be removed from service for repair.
This vehicle has assisted in allowing us to continue our free service for the NHS during the #Covid19 crisis.
Today our volunteer rider, Lee, met with Blood Bikes Cumbria to relay samples from Cumberland Infirmary to Cytogenetics Unit International Centre For Life.
