This year's Great North Run see's our team of 27 Northumbria Blood Bikes runners joined by 10 Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes runners. One of our team, Michael Kemp, has a very special reason for choosing to join our running team. He's running in memory of his brother-in-law Scott Soulsby.
Join us at our Great North Run Cheering Point. We will have our trailer outside South Tyneside Hospital, opposite the Fire Station, on The A1300 John Reid Road. This is around the 10mile mark of the 13.1mile course. (Please note that the road is closed from 9.45am to 4pm).
This year we have 27 NBB runners joined by 10 NABB runners as one team #BloodBikesGNR
Anybody wishing to join in supporting runners and helping to spot our team are welcome to join us!
Today we join Blood Bike groups nationwide in celebrating #BloodBikesDay
Did you know we have volunteers across our operational area? With this in mind there’s probably one of our dedicated volunteers living in your local community. We would like everyone to join us in thanking the men and women who give their own time in order to provide a valuable service to our communities.
