We are delighted to announce that we have been chosen as a winner in the Aviva Community Fund. The £25K we will be receiving will, go towards a new 4x4 vehicle to, help us to prepare for a reliable winter service.
This news comes at a time when our volunteers are currently dealing with our unpredictable winter weather and another 4 wheeled vehicle will make a huge difference to the service we are able to provide.
We are calling for the support of the local community to help win funding as part of the Aviva Community Fund 2017. Northumbria Blood Bikes are relying on votes to increase their chances of winning funding of up to £25,000 which they hope will help them to prepare for a reliable winter service. Only projects with the most votes will become finalists, so additional support is vital.
