Christmas Day relay

Today our volunteer driver, Jeff, met with Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes to collect Blood Samples they had from Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. He then relayed with Whiteknights Yorkshire Blood Bikes who took this very special package to Northern General Hospital in Sheffield.

New baby sample relay

Today our volunteer driver, Edward, relayed with North West Blood Bikes Lancs & Lakes to deliver new baby samples from Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Westmorland General Hospital and Furness General Hospitals to the Maternal Serum Screening Lab at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.

Festive Operating Hours 2019

The festive period is one of the busiest times of the year for our wonderful team of volunteers. We hope that nobody requires our service, especially over Christmas and New Year, but if you do please find comfort in knowing our team will be on call. We hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas!

Christmas card competition results 2019

Thank you to everybody who took the time to design a Christmas Card for our competition this year. We were overwhelmed by the response and the competition was pretty tough for our judging panel to choose the winners from. It gives us great pleasure in announcing that this year's winner of the children's category is Lizzie Gregory, aged 11 and the winner of the adult category is Sarah Mills.
