We would like to say a huge well done and thank you to everyone who took part in the #360Challenge yesterday. Unfortunately the weather didn't hold out but hopefully everyone had a great day of riding regardless. We have already been discussing ideas for next year's event. Special thanks to Goosepool House & Café and Earl Of Zetland for allowing us to use their venues and supporting our event. Take a look at our photographs: https://flic.kr/s/aHskU8gU8b
Northumbria Blood Bikes are thrilled to reveal the new motorbike purchased from the Tesco Bags of Help funding scheme. Colleagues at the store were given the opportunity to name the bike but as a mark of respect they gave this honour to the family of Chris Webster. Chris had been a keen fundraising volunteer for NBB, up until his health declined, and he sadly passed away earlier this year. Chris’ family chose to name the bike ‘Rush’ which had been his nickname.
Final call for anybody wanting to take part in this year’s #360Challenge. You can start/finish at either Earl Of Zetland or Goosepool House & Café. At your starting point you’ll be given your challenge sheets. Check points are:
Lots of you may have seen the news and social media reports concerning Warwickshire & Solihull Blood Bikes. This situation has prompted many of you to contact us with your concerns about how it will impact our Blood Bike volunteers at NBB.
We would like to reassure our supporters that it is a local issue to WSBB only.
We would like to thank you for showing your support of Warwickshire & Solihull Blood Bikes. #BloodBikeFamily
With only a month until our #360Challenge we’re very excited to see the patches arrive. This year you can start/finish at our new venues either Earl Of Zetland or Goosepool House & Café.
Today Mary Hannah Soulsby is celebrating her 100th birthday. Yesterday her grandson, Frank Soulsby, completed his 100th shift volunteering for Northumbria Blood Bikes. He proudly presented his Gran his gold recognition badge to mark the occasion.
We are pleased to announce that we have been chosen as one of the four causes Wesleyan would like to support in 2019. Each cause will receive funding, with the share being determined by the number of votes they receive, so we need your help with voting for our charity. Voting is open until Sunday 14th April.

Bella and Claire where originally purchased with funds from Madathlon for Northumbria Blood Bikes and its great to see both bikes back together to enjoy their retirement.
