Today it was a pleasure to hand over the keys for Bella to Madathlon, which has served Northumbria Blood Bikes well since it entered operational service on Sunday 24th August 2014.
Bella and Claire where originally purchased with funds from Madathlon for Northumbria Blood Bikes and its great to see both bikes back together to enjoy their retirement.
It is with great sadness that we are announcing that our volunteer Chris Webster sadly passed away at home earlier this week. Chris was a valued member of our team and all of us at Northumbria Blood Bikes are sending our deepest condolences to his family at this difficult time. Northumbria Blood Bikes are honoured to accompany him on his final ride.
