We have been lucky enough to be chosen as a #charitypartner of Beeline Moto this #blackfriday
They are donating 5% of their Beeline Moto Black Friday weekend (Friday 27th November to Monday 30th November) revenue to these two Blood Bikes organisations to help support the fantastic work that they are doing. https://beeline.co
We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone at Canny Crafters, who despite the difficulties faced this year, have raised £1900 for our charity.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that took the time and put lots of effort into their entries for this year's design our Christmas card competition. As with most things this year we had to hold an online selection panel with our volunteers and they had the hard task of selecting their favourite. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any adult entries but that did mean we could then choose two children's entries as this year's winners. Sorry to those who didn't have their design chosen but we hope you join in again next year.
As our volunteers prepare for their evening shift they are taking extra precautions by donning stinking rose, wolfsbane and an apotropaic mark. There will be no time for trick or treating, for our team, when the NBB signal beckons for their help they will ward off any creatures lurking in the dark of All Hallows’ Eve under the blue moon.
During lockdown local lass Pat Carrick faced having to grow out her long black locks with hairdressers being closed. Rather than rush to get booked in for it to be coloured she decided to brave the chop and raise money for charity in the process. As an ex-biker she had met our volunteers at an event 3 years ago and chose to support Northumbria Blood Bikes with her sponsored haircut.
