Monday 10th March was Northumbria Blood Bikes' busiest day yet on the publicity front. With two radio appearances, one newspaper report and a spot on the ITV news the extension of our service coverage into County Durham and Darlington really struck a chord with the local news teams.

Say Hello to "Octagon" our second blood bike on publicity duties at the ASDA store in Gosforth. A Honda ST1300 - Pan European, the bike has been out and about on fundraising duties for a while now, and is entering operational service on Friday 7th March 2014.
Northumbria Blood Bikes extended its service coverage to include the County Durham And Darlington NHS Foundation Trust as of 19:00 on Moday 3rd March 2014.
