At 19:00 on 3rd February 2014 Northumbria Blood Bikes launched its Blood Bike service for the North East of England.

2nd Feb 2014: On what turned out to be a chilly, but dry and mostly sunny Sunday morning, more than 30 members of the group, and both blood bikes, met up at the Angel of the North to have their photo taken.

Nominated charity Asda Gosforth

If you shop at Asda Gosforth, please put a green token in for us. Asda Gosforth have nominated us as one of their nominated charities for the next two months. Simply put a token in the slot for Northumbria Blood Bikes, and if we get the most tokens, Asda will make a donation to us. We have the middle slot!

Our first Blood Bike - Dressed up & ready!

Northumbria Blood bikes are pleased to present our first blood bike, fresh from having its livery applied. Thanks to all the NBB members for their hard work and the generous public and companies whose donations have made this possible.

The Emergency Services Show

The dates have been announced for the 2013 Emergency Services Show at the NEC in Birmingham on the 25th and 26th September 2013. The Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes (NABB) is planning to attend and Northumbria Blood Bikes as pending members are likely to be part of that.
